Your business
has a story
worth telling.
Most sites
bury it.

We build websites for the people who were here first — doing the work, building the block. Not a template with your name dropped in. A site that sounds like you, and makes you impossible to scroll past.

Act I · The problemFolio 01

A template gives you a layout.
It can never give you a voice.

Most small-business sites are the same fifteen blocks in a different order. They tell a visitor what you sell. They never tell them who you are, why you started, or why it matters that it's you.

That's the part that earns trust — and it's the first thing a template throws away. The layout survives. The person disappears.

We start at the other end. The story first, the structure after. What a stranger needs to feel in the eight seconds before they decide.

Template No. 47 — “Local Business”Reject
“Barber shop. Cuts, fades, beard trims. Walk-ins welcome.”
Twenty-two years on the same corner. Three generations have sat in this chair. We don't do trends — we do you, sharp, every time.
The same story, told right
Act II · The workFolio 02 · Concepts

Four businesses.
Four sites.
No house style.

Read this first

These are concepts, not clients. We're a new studio and we won't pretend otherwise — there are no invented testimonials on this page and no logos we haven't earned. What they show is the thing that actually matters: same studio, four businesses, and not one of them looks like it came off the same shelf. When the work is real, it replaces this section.

Condensed, hand-painted-sign weight. Deep green and gold because that's the shop — not a palette we happen to like. The booking button never leaves the screen.

A serif, set light and italic, because the work is delicate and the claim is quiet. Warm brown over cream. The gallery carries the argument; the copy stays out of its way.

Black, white, one safety orange. Type cranked to the edge of the frame. The philosophy is the brand, so the philosophy is the headline — and nothing else is on the first screen.

See the menu

A slab with weight to it — the type equivalent of a heavy plate. Deep red and mustard, straight off the tablecloth. Menu one tap from anywhere, because that's what people came for.

Act III · What you getFolio 03

A site that carries your story — and does the quiet work of getting found.

01

Voice — story-first

We start with your story, not a layout. Every page is written and designed to sound like you and move a stranger from curious to convinced. If you don't have the words, that's the part we do.

02

Reach — built to be found

Fast on a phone. Readable by search and the new answer engines. Accessible to everyone. The craft under the hood that turns a beautiful site into a working one.

03

Ownership — yours to keep

Your site, your domain, your words — held by you, not rented back to you. Clear terms, no lock-in, no hostage situations. Leave whenever you want and take it with you.

Act IV · How it worksFolio 04

You tell it once.
We build it.

No page builder. No drag-and-drop. No wireframe purgatory, and no six meetings before anyone draws anything. You answer questions for four minutes and we go to work.

01

Tell us the story

Four minutes, guided. What the business is, why it's yours, who it's for. A real person reads every word.

02

We build the draft

Written, designed, built. You don't touch a builder and you don't sit in a workshop. The first thing you see is a site.

03

You review it

Say what's wrong in plain language. We fix it. This is where it stops being ours and starts being yours.

04

It goes live

Domain, words, files — yours. Keep it yourself or let Care handle it. Either way you own it.

Act V · Who this is forFolio 05

We're a studio.
Not a builder.

That one distinction decides whether we're right for you. We'd rather be blunt about it up front than take your money and disappoint you.

This is for you if

  • You'd rather run your business than build a website
  • You have a real story and nowhere that tells it
  • You want it written for you — not a blank box and a blinking cursor
  • You want to own the thing outright when it's done
  • You want it to look like you, not like everyone else in your trade

Most of the people we build for have been open for years and have never had a site that sounds like them.

This isn't for you if

  • You want to drag and drop it yourself
  • You want a template library and a monthly subscription
  • You want it live tonight for ten dollars
  • You want to pick from a hundred themes and fill in the blanks

None of that is wrong — it's a different product, and the tools that do it are good at it. We do the opposite thing: you tell us once, and we build it.

Act VI · PricingFolio 06 · Rate card

Straight pricing.
Real deliverables.
No mystery quotes.

Pick the build that fits where you are. Every one is designed and written by us, made to load fast and get found, and yours to keep. You see the draft before you pay for the build.

Act VII · QuestionsFolio 07

The things
people ask.

Do I actually own it?
Yes. The domain, the words, the files. Not licensed to you, not rented back to you, not held hostage while you keep paying. If you walk away tomorrow you take the whole thing with you — and that's in the contract, not just on this page.
Do I have to pay before I see anything?
No. You fill in the brief, we build the first draft, and you look at a real site before any money changes hands. Interaction first. Transaction after.
What if I already have a site?
Most people we build for do — it's usually the reason they called. We rebuild or replace it. You keep your domain; it points at the new site when you say go, and nothing goes dark in between.
How long does it take?
Launch is about a week. Growth is two to three. Signature runs to its own timeline because it's built from scratch. The clock starts when the brief lands, not after a month of scheduling calls.
Do you host it?
If you want. Care is $99/month and covers hosting, edits, monitoring and updates. It's optional and it isn't a lock-in — cancel any time and the site is still yours to take anywhere.
Can I change it myself later?
Yes — it's your site and your files. Most people would rather send us a note and have it handled, which is what Care is for. But nothing is welded shut, and nobody is holding the keys.
What if I don't like the draft?
Say so, in plain language. That's what the review step is for. We'd rather you tell us it's wrong than be polite about it — the draft exists to be argued with.
